PINEAPPLE AND TURMERIC SMOOTHIE

These Pineapple and turmeric smoothies are packed with anti-inflammatory properties and vitamin C. Easy to make and require only 5 ingredients.

Some of the benefit of pineapple and turmeric:

  • Fresh pineapple is low in calories, contains an enzyme bromelain that digest food by breaking down protein and it’s an excellent source of antioxidants and vitamin C;
  • Turmeric is the spice that gives curry its yellow colour. It has been used as a medicine for centuries to treat colds, infections. Studies have shown that curcumin,
    a compound in turmeric, may reduce inflammation in the body.

  • 1 banana
  • 1 pineapple
  • a piece of fresh ginger
  • 1 cup plant milk of your choice ( I use soya)
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
Instructions
  1. Blend all the ingredients and enjoy
